We have over 30 years of silk yarn buying and retailing experience. We know silk. We source our silks from Europe, Japan and India, buying the best quality and most beautiful yarns. We travel regularly to refire our inspiration; on our journeys we often find new and exciting yarns to sell at Sanjo. Our retail location is the Silk Weaving Studio on Granville Island in Vancouver. If you are in the neighbourhood, come and touch our scrumptious yarns in person. We often have things in the shop that we can't represent online, so do come by to see what's new and different. And because the Silk Weaving Studio is a working studio, you can see many of the luxurious yarns "in action", being woven into breathtaking scarves, shawls and garments. Come just to be inspired! You'll see stunning examples of knitting, machine knitting and weaving.
