Regrettably, as of August 29, 2025, the US government has imposed tariffs on goods from Sanjo entering the US. This means that all packages, including those valued at under US$800, which were previously exempt, will attract duties of up 50%, depending on country of origin. This is a very distressing situation for us, and for our valued American customers and friends.
As a result, Sanjo has been compelled to implement a new protocol for selling to our US customers. We will use a 3rd party service through which duties can be prepaid by the customer. As a US customer, you will need to pay the duties and fees to Sanjo, which will be forwarded to US Customs and Border Protection. This service is available only for orders of C$250+. Please email us prior to ordering if you’d like to use this option.
If you do not wish to carry the responsibility of the extra tariffs and fees, we regret that we cannot accept your order at this time.
