Most of our yarns are spun silk. We're delighted to offer you a reeled silk yarn! The "novelty" nature of this yarn means it has an unusual texture that defies conventional construction descriptions. It's a slightly irregular yarn with loads of personality. Because it's reeled silk, it has a unique, slightly crunchy and squeaky texture. Use it as an accent yarn in your weaving for maximum impact. We love it knitted with bigger needles or crochet hooks for a loose, open garment. And because it's tussah, it has a lovely soft, slightly gold colour, which provides a rich undertone for dyeing - it soaks up dye in a most alluring way!
