Once again the amazing Liz Moncrief, a regular contributor to Handwoven Magazine and twice winner of the prestigious Complex Weaver Award, has created a weaving kit for Sanjo Silk. The yarn is woven using our 20/2 100% Silk yarn (#10-007). The warp and most of the weft is in graphic, high-contrast Black and Ivory. The kit features a contrast section in the weft that is woven using the small skeins of contrast colour; you choose these colours from the drop-down above. The weave structure is an advancing twill, giving your finished scarves a sharp, exotic look. Each kit provides enough yarn to make 2 scarves; the length of your scarves is determined by the fringe finish you choose. A twisted fringe will net a shorter woven scarf; the hemstitched option has a longer handwoven part.
Colourways: All yarn is Black and Ivory. Your choice is for the contrast band you will weave into the weft.
